"Outdoor artist Joe Goodman is proud to release this limited edition of 350 prints titled "The Brat Pack". The usual litter for a mating pair of red fox is 6 to 8 pups. The largest litter ever recorded was 17 pups discovered in Michigan. When first born the pups are about 7 inches in body length and have tails that are 2 1/2 to 3 inches long. The eyes begin to open on the ninth day and are initially blue in color. At 5 weeks they begin to venture out of the den, while scurrying back at the slightest disturbance. At 3 months of age the young are following their parents to learn the art of hunting and the den is abandoned a short time later."
